Cheatahs made their first stop on a brief US tour in Portland on a Saturday night at Bunk Bar, bringing a finessed hybrid of swirlining discordance and harmony to the audience who have a soft spot for that ill-named (and used) "genre" known as shoegaze. The London-based foursome's self-titled debut LP came out earlier this month, garnering many favorable reviews. Cheatahs play with FIDLAR in Los Angeles next for Red Bull Sound Select and then finish off their visit with three dates in the east coast. But we predict they'll return to our shores with an extended tour in the near future.
