Forest Swords' Matthew Barnes makes music that's primordial and futuristic at the same time, striking a neat balance between artfulness and unrestrained temperament. Today, the English producer has shared a clip that might just be the most apt visual representation of the symbioses that inform Barnes' art. Directed by choreographer and filmmaker Benjamin Millepied and featuring dancer Billy Barry (in an impassioned performance), the video promotes "The Weight of Gold" from Forest Swords' last year debut LP Engravings.
