Despite constant rumors and a reunion tour currently in the works, the most vocal half of Outkast, Big Boi, talked with Revolt and confirmed the news no avid Outkast fan wanted to hear: there is no new Outkast album in the works. "No, no, no. We're just doing the tour only, just for the fans," said Big Boi to Revolt. "That's all it is, just the tour."
While this will be bittersweet news for Outkast fans, there are a few things to look forward to regarding Big Boi's end. Besides from releasing a new solo album in the near future, Daddy Fat Stax will be releasing a mixtape that could possibly drop in the next few weeks. The mixtape is inspired by the series Game of Thrones which will feature a number of talents including Common, Wale, and "a couple surprise guests."
