The singer-songwriter who was the correct answer to Tony Danza's most famous TV show has released 10 remastered albums in the iTunes Store. According to Billboard, five of the Bruce Springsteen albums have undergone transfers from analog to digital using Plangent Processes technology for the very first time. Those albums include Greetings from Asbery Park, NJ, The Wild, The Innocent & the E Street Shuffle, Born to Run, Darkness on the Edge of Town, and Born in the U.S.A.
All ten albums were remastered by Bob Ludwig, who has worked on records for Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and many others.
The other five albums getting the remaster treatment are We Shall Overcome -- The Seeger Sessions, Working on a Dream, The Promise, Wrecking Ball (I believe this is an album of Miley Cyrus covers), and High Hopes. (Wait, High Hopes needs a remaster since it's release just a few months ago? Ok.)
In other news surrounding The Boss, he's on tour throughout Australia and New Zealand through the first couple days of March. After that he returns to the good ol' U.S.A. for a tour that begins April 18 in Cincinnatti. See the full set of tour dates here.
