There's a lot of J Dilla love going on today. And another pops up with an unearthing of a new track titled "Yes, Yes" he produced from his old crew Slum Village. The production includes chopped up verses from the likes of Illa J, T3 and Young RJ and comes together seamlessly from the familiar beats. The track is a complete throwback and makes you feel nostalgic for the times when one of the greatest hip hop producers was still alive and in full speed.
No confirmation but there also may be some new work from Slum Village featuring production work from J Dilla himself as well as Black Milk and RJ.
