"Don't Know Where to Go" (Video)

Some artists prefer narrative videos for their music, while others like The New Tigers, seem to be more interested in the conceptual, technique-based visuals for their songs. The Finnish quartet just debuted a clip for "Don't Know Where To Go" from their 2013 release, The Badger (Soliti). The track starts off in a mellow cadence and bursts into a climax of effects-laden guitars before calming down for its exit - a whistful yet ardent musing.

The video for "Don't Know Where To Go" is best explained by the band:

The video for "Don't Know Where to Go" is where the actual sound waves of the music and the images they invoke shake hands. The grain on the speaker cone brings visible the mass of the music, whilst in the midst of it lies the band behind the music. The imagined and the factual interact with each other finally merging into a perfect blend of the two. The video is inspired by Gary Hill's video art "Mediations".
