The NBA All-Star Weekend has always been known to bring in some big names on and off court and this year is no different. To perform this year in New Orleans will be an ironclad lineup of stars including Pharrell, Janelle Monae, Gary Clark Jr., Kendrick Lamar, Dr. John, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Before performing at the Academy Awards, Pharrell will be playing his Oscar-nominated song "Happy," on February 16 at the New Orleans Arena. Along with that performance, he will be featured alongside with some special guests.
In a New Orleans-inspired extravaganza, Trombone Shorty and his band Orleans Avenue will be taking the stage as blues' crooner Gary Clark Jr. will be singing the National Anthem. To kick things off however, Kendrick Lamar will headline All-Star Saturday night the eve of the game.
