
Our Vinyl Weighs a Ton, a documentary about seminal underground hip-hop imprint Stones Throw, is due for several exclusive screenings in select North American cities. Live performances by Peanut Butter Wolf, J Rocc, Jonwayne and Knx will follow each screening, and so will a Q&A with the label's founders.

Based out of Los Angeles, Stones Throw has been around since 1996. It was started by DJ and producer Peanut Butter Wolf, and since its inception has housed some of the most respected names in leftfield hip-hop and related genres, including Madlib, J Dilla, Meyer Hawthorne, and Dâm-Funk. Dilla's Donuts and Madlib/MF Doom 2004 collaboration Madvillainy were both released on the label.
