
During a Pearl Jam show last night in Perth, Australia, the band invited Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler to perform Neil Young's anthemic "Rockin' in the Free World" with them. This is not the first time the grunge legends shared their stage for that particular song, either: both St. Vincent and Carrie Brownstein sang it with the band in Dallas last year, while Brownstein alone (who is friends with Eddie Vedder) staged an impromptu Sleater-Kinney reunion during Pearl Jam's November show in Portland.
