Listening to "Skiss 3", feels like you are eavesdropping on your neighbor. With inimitable intimacy and solace, Alice Bowman provides an antidote for today's over-digitized sonic assault. The Scandinavian songwriter wrote "Skiss 3" and four other tracks that comprises Skisser EP as sketches (skiss in Swedish), oblivious to its eventual public consumption. If flickering candles illuminating a rustic window at a house by the sea in the soft rain of winter twilight could be translated into music, it would probaby sound like the songs of the Malmö-based songstress.
Accompanying "Skiss 3" is equally nostalgic and dreamy clip directed by Henric Claesson of Studio Pop, packing a profusion of textures and dimensions in just two-and-half minutes. Look for a new EP from Bowman in the spring via Adrain Recordings.
