While information on the mashup is still hush-hush, Chad Smith gave a little bit of details regarding Red Hot Chili Pepper's performance, which involves a bit of 70's classic rock.
The drummer to RHCP revealed to Artisan News that they will not be performing an original but rather a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Dazed and Confused." This shouldn't come off as too much of a surprise since the band isn't new to covering Led Zeppelin tunes; back in 2000, Red Hot Chili Peppers performed a shaky rendition of "Ramble On."
