After recently finishing up a tour in the UK, Deer Tick have unveiled their newest set of visuals to go along with their latest album, Negativity, this time for the track, "Big House."
The song, like much of the album, deals with a heavy theme. When talking about "Big House," lead singer John McCauley said: "I wrote it about a heroin addict friend of mine. He's always relapsing and going back to rehab. It's a terrible cycle." The disappointment and self-doubt comes through in the lyrics of this song, and while most tracks on Negativity are more upbeat, infusing various genres, "Big House," the closing track on the record, is solemnly played by McCauley and his acoustic guitar alone.
