In case you missed it, the UK Garage scene was the cool, champagne-soaked, Gucci-loafered child of disco, and the more mature relative of the candy kid raver. Last November, youth culture photographer Ewen Spencer published a book that captured that buzz of subculture that exploded in London during the late 90's. His new documentary, "Brandy & Coke" rekindles the hype and charisma of the UK Garage scene through energetic images and interviews with its most prominent DJ's and trendsetters.
