Diplo flew up to Vancouver, B.C. recently for the Contact Winter Music Festival, where he was interviewed by the city's most (in)famous Internet personality, Nardwuar. The two men bonded over Rotary Connection, discussed Miami Bass classics and Daytona Beach garage rock, and even went as far as to speculate about M.I.A.'s favorite snacks. Prompted by the holiday season or not, Diplo was in a pretty nostalgic mood, too: he reminisced about growing up in Florida and his early days of DJ-ing at the Ukrainian Club in Philly.
