HBO's Game of Thrones isn't just a well-acted drama -- it's a fantasy epic with some really cool backstory. Some of it is obvious from dialog the characters speak, and the rest has to be inferred by the audience or picked up from reading books from the original Song of Ice and Fire series.
One of the more interesting visual elements is the Iron Throne. It's the actual throne from the title of the series, as in, "When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die." Everyone covets it, and many people don't survive their attempts to gain it.
Well, if you want to win your own personal game of thrones, now's your chance. According to Vulture, online merchandise store ThinkGeek has created a life-size replica of the Iron Throne. However, at around $30,000, you might have to save up for a while to be able to afford it.
It's unclear whether this seat has actually been forged from the swords of enemies defeated by the invading Targaryen dragon lords. However, you do want to be careful when sitting on it -- cutting yourself while hearing the requests of you subjects is just bad form, as Mad King Aerys himself discovered on many occasions.
