Swedish teenage up-and-comer Young Lean has a thing for American non-alcoholic beverages, it seems; after raving about Arizona ice tea and how cheap it was in New York, he now embraces Gatorade in his first 2014 single. Besides being accompanied by a trippy video that has the rapper posing in front of a fish tank and by a Stockholm subway escalator, "Gatorade" proves that there's more to Yung Lean than the gimmick value of not sounding like a white 17-year-old European. In "Gatorade," the hazy and dense, psychedelic beats are equally a treat to appreciate.
