Norwegian production duo Röyksopp, still best remembered for their slew of warm electronic singles off of 2001's Melody A.M., have surprised everyone with a cozy new song just in time for Christmas. With favorite new collaborator Jamie Irrepressible (who was also featured on their previous digital release, "Something in my Heart"), Röyksopp recreate the über-delicate, retrofied atmosphere they've always excelled at. However, for "Twenty Thirteen," they completely eschewed their trademark "dance music for wallflowers" soft-IDM, which makes it pretty remarkable that they still end up sounding like the same band.
