Top Dawg Entertainment continues to show why they are regarded as one of the best up-and-coming labels in all of music. With international sensations in Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock and emerging talent in the songstress SZA and Memphis upstart Isaiah Rashad they are a force to be reckoned with.
2013 was yet another dominant year for the label and not one of their artists dropped an album. A slew of singles, remixes, and visuals kept the camp relevant the entire 365 days. The lack of projects released will certainly change in the forthcoming year.
The reclusive CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith recently took to twitter to announce the crews plans to release six albums in 2014. With six artists on the camp we will see if each artist will release an album or if there are more elaborate plans up Tiffith's sleeve. Will we be finally seeing a Black Hippy compilation? Only time will tell.
