Philadelphia-born, California-raised Scoe may been overshadowed by his older brother Kurupt for the best part of the last decade, but he's looking to step into the spotlight with his new mixtape, Tha Influence. The project has already spawned one sublime single with the Kendrick Lamar-assisted, Jake One-produced "Thank You," and has many more with Snoop Lion, Just Blaze, Xzibit, Hi-Tek and Glasses Malone on deck.
Another of hip-hop's most revered beatsmiths, Nottz, has got his finger in the proverbial pie, crafting a trademark neck-snapping, West Coast-flavored beat for "They Ain't Ready," which you can stream below. Tha Influence has yet to be scheduled with a release date, but we're hoping it arrives sooner than later.
