Politically conscious music company, Autonomous Music, has an eclectic roster of acts that are dedicated in utilizing the power of music to create a "conscious and sustainable future for humanity." Autonomous Music is now releasing their third installment of Array, which is a 25 track compilation, boasting their numerous producers and songwriters: DJ Vadim, Paper Tiger, Dr Israel, and more.
One of the artists featured on Array includes producer behemoth Blockhead. Mostly associated with producing cuts for the Rhymesayer's namesake, Aesop Rock, Blockhead has done an impressive number of collaborations and remixes including the Illogic-helmed album Capture the Sun and remixes for Fiona Apple and Del the Funky Homosapien.
On Array, Blockhead finds himself expanding his Ableton-savvy horizons while still incorporating his staple hip-hop productions, nostalgic to his singles "Insomniac Olympics," and "Expiration Date."
