MTV has just reported that Lil Wayne has not suffered two seizures in the past 24 hours. This is, of course, contrary to previous reports today that the rapper first had a seizure on his private jet Thursday evening and had to make an emergency landing in Texas, then suffered another seizure earlier today in Louisiana. Lil Wayne's rep maintains that he was merely suffering from dehydration and exhaustion, not seizures. Here's the statement from his rep:
"Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love."
Whether Lil Wayne's illness is dehydration or seizures, this has been one rough day for the Dedication 4 rapper. Here's hoping he recovers quickly. His newest release, I Am Not A Human Being II, is due out in December.
