Just a few days after his “election-changing surprise,” Donald Trump still demands your attention. The Apprentice host went on The Late Show with David Letterman last night to talk about his offer to President Obama. In case you missed it, the world’s largest oompa loompa offered to donate $5 million dollars to a charity of the President’s choice if releases his college and passport records and applications by the end of the month.
Last night Trump said of his offer (which definitely has nothing to do with race), “I assume and I hope that his records are perfect. He picks up $ million for charity. $5 million. From me. Immediate. Check written. I’d even go more to be honest; there, you have a scoop.” So there we have it, Mr. Trump would give more than $5 million. There’s no word yet on if Stephen Colbert plans to increase his offer to Trump or whether Trump thought Obama’s Kenya joke was funny.
