JMSN is a promising vocalist whose work has appeared on Kendrick Lamar’s good kidd, M.A.A.D city, Game’s Jesus Piece, as well as frequent collaborations with Ab-Soul and Deniro Farrar. Last year, the Los Angeles (via Detroit) singer released his first solo project †Priscilla† which solidified him as a musician to keep an eye on.
A year later, JMSN is set to keep himself on the right course with his newest project †Pllaje†. The singer, whose real name is Christian Berishaj, takes his Albanian roots by titling the EP after the Albanian word for “Plateau.” For JMSN, the name is a metaphor for the frustrating space which is created due to the aftermath of conflict or heartbreak. He is aware of the new found series of challenges that come along with it. And that’s what †Pllaje† will seek to achieve as a concept album dealing with the arch of emotions one feels after a storm.
Although the new EP is produced and mixed by JMSN, he will also be seeking assistance from Vlado Meller (Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Beastie Boys, etc) for mastering the project. After the album’s November 5th release, JMSN will embark on a United States tour with Active Child.
