
The Duluth, MN-based trio premiered a cover of Rihanna's hit "Stay" back in July at Pitchfork Fest in Chicago. Now they're offering a studio recording of the album available below or through iTunes. The proceeds of single sales through iTunes will go to benefit the Chicago-based music education program Rock for Kids.
The track itself is an emotionally staggering reconstruction of Rihanna's single featuring a glacial vocal exchange between Mimi Parker and Alan Sparhawk set to a desolate sounding piano. It's simply gorgeous. Take a listen below.
