E-40 may be Vallejo's sole notable rap export, but MC-on-the-rise Moe Green is looking to give the Californian city another name to shout about. The West Coast native has several stellar projects, including Lionheart and Lionheart II, and impressive media co-signs (XXL Magazine, MTV, SF Weekly) to his name, and today provides the perfect opportunity if you're looking for a quick—but lasting—impression.
Taken from the aforementioned Lionheart II EP, Green debuts some pretty trippy visuals to accompany his equally-as-intoxicating "One Two" cut, produced by prolific beatsmith Lee Bannon. "I was consumed with being cool, right?/ Creators of Jordan shoes told me just do it, Nike/ Playing for daybreakers, we a fool at night/ Overlooked for so long it made it cool to fight," he raps, as footage of black tapdancers is cleverly spliced with scenes of lions fighting.
You can watch the "One Two" video below, and as an extra treat, stream Green's Lionheart II in full afterwards. The project features Erk Tha Jerk, Tanya Morgan, DJ Toure and more.
