With all of the hype put behind Kendrick Lamar's debut full-length, good kid, m.A.A.d. city, it's no surprise that the album is projected to have a stellar first week on the charts.
According to Hits Daily Double, the rapper's record is slated to sell more than 200,000 copies in its first week, but that's not enough to grab the Number 1 spot. Pop-country singer Taylor Swift's latest LP, Red, is expected to top the charts with over one million copies sold.
good kid, m.A.A.d. city dropped yesterday and reached as high as number 2 on the iTunes album chart. Not too shabby, Mr. Lamar.
