Maxine Ashley, best known for her work with Lil' Wayne and Pharrell, recently covered Portishead's "Glory Box". The seductive songstress doesn't deviate too far from her original source material, but Ashley's version still contains enough singularity to defintely warrant a listen.
The monochrome video slowly follows Maxine Ashley as her sultry voice pleads to the tune of: "Give me a reason to be a woman". Moody guitar riffs play throughout and near the end, the visuals and beat change up to a noticeably more coloful extent. Her EP Mood Swings is out on September 17.
