The figureheads of Odd Future - Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator - are setting up something spectacular. The two rappers from the OFWGKTA collective have announced plans to record a collaborative album, dubbed EarlWolf. The details for this collab were spoken about by Earl Sweatshirt during an NME interview which is published in the latest edition of the magazine.
Speaking about this specific collaboration to NME, Earl stated:
"We'll do the record when we're ready to sit down for a month and a half and do it in one. It'd be shitty if it was spread out. That's how I want to do shit from now on; that's what I learned from doing 'Doris'. Trying to piece shit together that's hella spread out kinda sucks. You hit a lot more walls trying to make it sync."
Earl Sweatshirt recently released Doris, which was Earl's official debut album. Tyler, The Creator released Wolf back in April. Both albums feature each other and their collaborations have been seen on Odd Future tapes and elsewhere aplenty. We'll be updating you as we hear more details through the grapevine. Stay tuned.
