Sharon Van Etten's highly acclaimed 2012 release, Tramp, gets the deluxe treatment on Nov. 13. The Brooklyn songwriter impressed critics and fans alike with her intimate brand of folk rock and distinct voice (both bodily and lyrically), and now Jagjaguwar Records is re-releasing the breakthrough album and throwing in a few extras.
The new edition will have demos for each track, along with a bonus unreleased demo for "Tell Me." Additionally, the repackaging will feature a self-portrait and liner notes about each song taken from Van Etten's journals (the digital version will also include the abovementioned extras in digital format).
Van Etten is in the middle of her fall tour, joined this leg by fellow singer-songwriter Damien Jurado. [CoS]
