Prefix Premiere: Dog Bite- "Disorder" (Joy Division Cover)

It seems like every band is doing a cover of another band nowadays. San Cisco covered Daft Punk's "Get Lucky," Unknown Mortal Orchestra covered Otis Redding's "(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay," Tame Impala covered Outkast's "Prototype," and many others.

Fittingly enough, Dog Bite has joined in and did a cover of Joy Division's "Disorder." Originally released in 1979 off Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures, "Disorder" is a simple 80's gem, boasting one of the best recorded basslines ever.

Dog Bite's cover definitely doesn't venture far off from the original. While at a slower tempo, the cover still sports the catchy bassline, elongated guitar silhouettes, and the bombastic, explosive ending. Sometimes frontman Phil Jones even sounds like the late Ian Curtis. Listen and download below.
