Scottish post-punkers Franz Ferdinand has their fourth studio album dropping right around the corner. And with a new album out that means a lot of media duties.
The four passed by French radio station Ouï FM and recorded a live version of Grimes' hit track "Oblivion." Compared to the original hazy version full of textural sounds and Grimes' faerie like vocals, Franz Ferdinand's version sounds more like a trip down memory lane a la The Beatles' era. Alex Kapranos' distinct vocals sing the track over acoustic guitars.
On August 26, 2013 their new album Right Words, Right Thoughts, Right Action will be released by Domino Records.
