Hooking up once again are producer Raf Riley and vocalist Etta Bond (pictured above), both from London and both pooling their respective talents for another good collaborative effort. Meds marks the second time the two artist have gotten together for an EP; it follows last years Emergency Room and seems considerably more agreeable in that the duo employ current popular (but not ostentatious) musical tropes on both sides of the boards very successfully. Riley’s quirky take on house and structurally conventional hip-hop arrangements are a perfect foil to Bond’s British vocals.
