Detroit-based outfit Bars of Gold have announced the release of their sophomore album titled Wheels. The band includes ex-Bear vs. Shark singer Marc Paffi and drummer Brandon Moss, as well as members of the free-form rock 'n' roll-cum-improvisational jazz meets post-rock group Wildcatting (think Hella with an old school rock impulse).
The album, recorded in Detroit, was produced by Chris Koltay (Akron/Family, The Dirtbombs, Talib Kweli). Wheels will be released on October 28 via Belly Ache Records.
