Julianna Barwick bakes a nature-y cake in her new video for "One Half," taken from her upcoming album Nepenthe, out August 20 from Dead Oceans. In the video, directed by Zia Anger, two Barwicks join after one makes a cake in the woods that Gordon Ramsey would be disappointed by. The other Barwick spends her time loitering in parking garage. (Is the cake in fact Nepenthe itself? A drug that frees the user from all guilt?) Watch below.
Barwick plays New York City on August 20, then heads to Europe for a short tour before joinging Sigur Rós, opening for their fall US tour. Dates below
