John Cep and Kim Field for nearly a decade had been making psychedelic disco with their band Soundpool. Although the project did contain its own fair share of drizzling guitars, they have left the project to move onto even more viscerally layered shoegaze drenching guitars in The Stargazer Lilies. You would be able to hear and see this new sound in their single "We Are The Dreamers." As the two slowly take one step-by-step in the video, the music's drowning guitars, and melancholy melodies over Field's airy vocals recall a lot of nostalgic emotions piercing your ears and heart to the core.
With production help from Tobacco of Black Moth Super Rainbow and live drummers EJ DeCoske and Johnny Lancia, the two have really pushed their new sound to into new terrain, yet familia
Their debut album We Are The Dreamers will be released on September 10, 2013 via Graveface Records.
