Cut Copy have made new 12” “Let Me Show You” available via Soundcloud today. The antipodean electropoppers initially promoted the track at the Pitchfork Festival in Chicago recently, by pressing 120 12” singles at the CHIRP Record Fair. Now it’s available to the masses eagerly awaiting a follow up to 2011’s well received Zonoscope.
Fans of the band’s previous work should be happy. “Let Me Show You” continues the Aussie quartet’s masterful musical piracy, with shades of Madchester acid house combing smoothly with their distinctive ‘80s pop flourish. No date on a new album as of yet, though whispers from Down Under suggest sometime in the fall.
