Wu Tang Clan affiliates have been receiving a lot of attention recently. With Ghostface Killah’s impressive collaboration project with Adrian Younge and the fan-favorite CZARFACE project, this year is feeling filled with the Power of the Wu. In the case of CZARFACE, it was so successful that there has already been a second pressing of the CD, a limited edition vinyl, as well as the selling out of action figures inspired by the project.
Not even six months have elapsed since CZARFACE released and already 7L has announced that a second album is on the way. Earlier today, the Boston-based producer told HipHopDX that "The first CZARFACE was a pet project of ours and fans really responded to the chemistry. [Inspectah] Deck called it a duel, I think it was a knock down, drag out, slugfest...12 rounds. Now, for the rematch we know our strengths and fighting styles even better...expect brutality."
No release date for CZARFACE 2 has been confirmed.
