Prefixmag bring you something special from across the pond today. Chicago-bred singer, producer and all-round beacon of Soul Jesse Boykins III made a stop by the BBC Radio 6 Music studios with his band this past Saturday (Oct. 30), where he performed three cuts, including a delicious cover of Feist/James Blake's "Limit to Your Love," live on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Show.
The gifts didn't end there, though. Boykins also gave a beautiful live rendition of a previously unheard version of "B4 The Night Is Thru"—the Machine Drum-produced single which saw its official video premiered on BET's 106 & Park back in February—which is yours to stream below. You can also enjoy the entire original session over on BBC.
Jesse Boykins III is currently prepping his collaboration with MeLo-X, Zulu Guru, for a release on Nov. 6 via Ninja Tune. Pre-orders are available now on iTunes.
