Volcano Choir, the post-rock-goes-pop project from Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and the members of the post-rock outfit Collections of Colonies of Bees, have released a video for the track "Byegone." The video, directed by Michinori Saigo, almost plays like documentation of an art installation rather than a music video, with a tree full of fluorescent lights flashing, climbing through the branches to the pulse of the song.
The track comes from their upcoming sophomore release Repave, which will be released September 3 in the U.S. and September 2 everywhere else through Jagjaguwar.
