Newcomer Doley Bernays is one to watch out of New York, mostly because he is creating a sound aside from others from the area. There's a gritty authenticity in his street tales, and his new single "Till We Fall" is no different. Paired with production by the equally impressive MP Williams, the track boasts a refreshing sound in hip-hop.
Williams introduces Bernays over a melancholy piano melody before progressing into a slow, filtered section. He then flips the instrumental with an upbeat Slim Thug sample, before reverting back for Bernays to finish off his story. It's an impressive track, especially for a new artist.
