In A$AP Rocky’s debut album, Long.Live.A$AP, A$AP Rocky found himself behind the MPC, curating beats for his track, “Suddenly.” To further his pursuit in becoming a producer, Rocky announced earlier this year that he was planning to release an album of self- produced beats. He has now announced the album's sound direction and tentative release date in an interview with MTV.
The album is titled Beauty And The Beast: Slowed Down Sessions (Chapter 1), which will be released by the end of the summer. It will also be available for free download, just like his debut mixtape, 'Live.Love.A$AP.' The A$AP Mob leader calls his instrumental effort “really druggy, ambient, airy type shit,” which will include, “classical music and boom-bap Wu- Tang shit mixed together.”
