Early this year there were numerous rumors as to The Postal Service's reunion. It was eventually confirmed along with the announcement that their hit and only album Give Up was going to be reissued with an additional ten tracks. "A Tattered Line Of Sring" was one of the new songs that came on the second disc of this reissue.
And last night, the official music video for track made its late night television debut on 'The Colbert Report.' Who would've thought that seeing from the perspective of actual laundry would match a Postal Service song so eloquently.

Their live performance of the song on 'The Colbert Report' had Jenny Lewis from Rilo Kiley join in and sing "I've got a tattered line of string that I tie to everything that I want to call my own. But it never seems to hold." Watch the live take on the song below:
