good kid, m.A.A.d city may be the four words on everybody's lips right now, but Kendrick Lamar blesses his evergrowing fanbase with a track that won't feature on his upcoming debut album—but that doesn't make it any less incredible.
"The Heart Pt. 3"—the sequel, if you will, to (O)verly (D)edicated's "The Heart Pt. 2," which itself utilizes The Roots' "A Piece of Light" instrumental—provides another excuse for a Black Hippy posse cut (three-quarters' worth, anyway) as Ab-Soul and Jay Rock join Kendrick over the dreamy drum-tickling, strings-laced harmony.
What's more, the song was recorded just last night (Oct. 19) in Las Vegas, according to 2dopeboyz's Shake. Awesome.
