OWSLA founder Skrillex has been relatively quiet the past few months in terms of new original content, but he resurfaced recently as the new subject of BBC Radio 1's "Essential Mix" segment. Just a few hours before his headlining set at Sonar Festival in Barcelona, Spain, the producer/DJ took to radio to give fans a brief glimpse at songs to be played during his show.
As usual, the dubstep genius fused a bunch of sounds and genres for the mix, playing his own remixes and tracks by Disclosure (he played the sermon-sampling "When a Fire Starts to Burn"), fellow collaborator A$AP Rocky (he introduced a bass-heavy, wobbling remix of their "Wild for the Night" track) and more. Listen above and enjoy.
