Chicago “Glory Girl” Sasha Go Hard returns with a video for the first single off her upcoming mixtape Nutty World (due out August 5th). Sasha is perhaps the premier female drill artist in Chicago right now, having made a name for herself with a steady stream of South Side club favorites like “What We Do” and the excellent “Why They Mad.” She’s set to appear on Diplo’s upcoming Mad Decent Block Party tour.
Sasha's new single, “Rondo,” is named for the point guard of the Boston Celtics, not for the musical form. The beat is provided by up-and-coming Midwestern production team the Odd Couple, who have worked with everyone from Chance the Rapper to Smoke DZA to Freeway. The video co-stars 1/2 of the Odd Couple and was directed by Chicago music video mogul DGainz, whose profile rose after Chief Keef's "I Don't Like" video hit YouTube.
