On top of the many music festivals that you may already have going on, one that can not be missed this summer is this one. Think Brown Sugar, Voodoo, Baduizm, Mama's Gun...that's right it's D'angelo and Erykah Badu, and how many times will you have two legends like them under the same roof? Joining the stage on top of that heavy line-up is Melbourne based futuristic/modern soul group Hiatus Kaiyote. I'm new to this group but recently took a listen to some of their music and must say it's pretty good (check out their debut album Tawk Tomahawk). The three will be scheduled to perform at Detroit's Chene Park Amphitheatre on August 4, 2013.
