You know, these Lana Del Rey "unreleased demos" seem to come out of nowhere and in bunches too. Not only has she been recording new material such as "Young and Beautiful" for The Great Gatsby soundtrack, but she has a handful of these unreleased songs that keep being unearthed. So either as Lizzie Grant or Lana Del Rey, the artist who we now only seem to see as a beautiful chanteuse in music videos does it again with this track "Queen of Disaster."
And just like any other Lana Del Rey song, this number sounds vintage. Like the lead of a girl group, the soulful song has her crooning about love and bad boys.
