One of Finland's brightest hopes for international attention, Big Wave Riders, are in England this week for a pair of shows in London and in Brighton. And just in time for the occasion, the sextet have released a brand new video for "Life Is Art, You Wonder" from their debut LP, Life Less Ordinary, released in August 2012 on Soliti. Directed and edited by lead vocalist, Teppo Meriläinen with Patrick Lindholm, we're introduced to graffiti-loving lads - some with suave dance moves. The light-hearted, casual vignettes of the daylight outdoor amusements contrast with the band playing in a dark, abysmal concrete-cold underground to a null crowd. The climatic performance should give you an idea of what to expect if you should choose to catch the Britpop/post-punk-flavored Helsinki group.
