Vår, the synthesis of four young men in Copenhagen debuts its full-length, No One Dances Quite Like My Brothers, on May 14 via Sacred Bones Records. Elias Rønnenfelt, who fronts the gloom doom punk group, Iceage, can be heard with little less strain as the vocalist for Vår, but with no less agony on the latest single, "Into Distance". A peculiar combination of mournful vocals, amphetamine-fueled acoustic guitar, and almost anthemic horn section of "Into Distance" makes for one of the most refreshing sonic compositions to emerge in the indie music scene recently.
