Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend and co. are back with their upcoming third album Modern Vampires In The City. Produced with Ariel Rechtshaid ( (Usher, Major Lazer, Charli XCX) , the group have claimed that they captured and used more "organic" sounds this time around.
And in an interview with Q Magazine, Koenig stated that in the new album they “...created some characters on the first record, some of which are real people, some of which are ourselves, so it’s not so hard to keep following them and see what their concerns are now and how their lives have changed.”
Their new album will be out May 14, 2013 via XL Recordings.
